Aspen Mesh is looking for a top-performing, entrepreneurial sales executive with experience selling solutions into software teams at mid to large enterprises. This is a hunting role where you’ll own the entire sales cycle from first touch to close in a rapidly emerging space.

As part of our early-stage sales team, you’ll have the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with business and technical leadership to optimize our sales approach as you execute on a daily basis. You’ll need a diverse skill set, from critical thinking and consultative selling to relationship management and the ability to close.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Build the Aspen Mesh client base by prospecting, contacting, forming relationships, and closing new deals
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from start to finish — from initial contact through close of the deal
  • Engage with inbound leads to understand their needs and help them effectively evaluate the Aspen Mesh solution
  • Become an expert on service mesh solutions and the problems they solve
  • Work with business leadership to continually improve our sales approach
  • Meet with prospects wherever needed to close the deal
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure you have the assets you need
  • Work closely with Product, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure customer satisfaction

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • 5+ years in a Sales role, with proven success selling into software teams at large companies
  • Experience managing a lead pipeline and developing a client base through prospecting
  • History of selling subscriptions to large/complex organizations
  • Strong business organization skills — developing sales strategy, prioritization, full lifecycle management, communicating with the rest of the team
  • Experience using a CRM to track activity and conversations
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly expanding and changing market
  • The desire to make an impact by building a business from the ground up


  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
